Let Me Tell You

by Karorero Xavier

I don’t arrive to sleep,
when I remember that thousands and thousands of people don’t have food to eat.
I don’t arrive to sleep,
when I remember that thousands and thousands of people don’t have a where to live.
I don’t arrive to sleep,
when I remember that thousands and thousands of people leave school.
I don’t arrive to sleep,
when I remember that thousands and thousands of people live in bad conditions.
I don’t arrive to sleep,
when I remember that thousands and thousands of people die because of hunger.
I don’t arrive to sleep.

Where is the people of heart?
Where is the people of justice?
Where is the people of truth?
Where is the people of unconditional love?
Where is the people of kindness?
Where is the wise people?
I don’t arrive to sleep.

I see many people enjoying their money.
They think to themselves only.
They eat, they drink, they lie, they steel, they kill, they do whatever they want.
They have a lot of money; they built houses; they buy cars; day by day, month by month, year by year. They travel everywhere for enjoying. They take expensive hotels, cars, foods, drinks, dresses, shoes…
They are very very rich. They want to be God, they want to rule the world, but they don’t want to help those poor people.
I don’t arrive to sleep.

Why are you doing that?
Why are you thinking to yourselves only?
Why don’t you want to help others?
Why are you enjoying your richness only without thinking of others?
WHY?
I don’t arrive to sleep.

Those people are people like you.
Those people want to live like you.
Those people want to have a good life like you.
I don’t arrive to sleep.

Please, approach them,
Please, listen them,
Please, understand them,
Please, help them,
Please, encourage them,
Please, teach them,
Please, love them with unconditional love,
Please, I beg you.
I don’t arrive to sleep.

Don’t let them to die because of hunger,
don’t let them leave school because of their poverty,
don’t let them live in bad conditions,
don’t let them suffer,
Please do something for them.
I don’t arrive to sleep.
